| History:
I bought this bike around a year ago from the owner of Kingsport
Kawasaki/Suzuki. It was a full race bike on a race stand when I
bought it. It was built up by the owner and ridden by the owner of
this large shop in four races, to promote the business. Prior to me
purchasing the bike at the invoice of $7,100 as a
track bike it already had Vortex quick release sprockets, vortex gap cap,
racing slicks, track stands, adjusted throttle cable, adjusted clutch
cable, full muzzy exhaust system, and the power commander which was dyno
mapped in Virginia at V.I.R. with the USB connection via a laptop.
I had them remove the race fuel residue by
disassembling the engine, cleaning all internals in soak, and cleaning
cylinder components to make sure it would not cause any problems later, I also had the factory kickstand
reinstalled and installed a carbon
fiber under tail system. By the time I rode it home, the invoice was
up to $8,500. It spent it's
life with me here in Kingsport, TN coming out to attend events, weekend
rides, and meets while being stored away from home on a trickle charger in
enclosed storage (It has been removed from storage for purpose of sale,
but still resides under my front porch protected from rain still) and it
was washed before each put up as well as never ridden in rain. This bike is a great example of the 636 and since my first year of purchase, I have invested well over an additional $8,500 in aftermarket parts, labor, and general maintenance. All parts and maintenance were installed and preformed at Kingsport Kawasaki by the person responsible for building the bike. The bike has never been stunted or laid down at speed, I did my best to take pictures of any nicks that are on the paint, even if you can only see them from the side. The bike has been a great joy to have on the street, as well as myself taking it to the track two times. It is just way to fast for me to ride on the street anymore, I have way too much money tied up in the aftermarket on the bike, and I need to simplify. So I am offering this great example of the 636, made ready to walk all over 1000cc bikes at the track, or keep ya smiling while you carve those twisties at the low price of $6,900, less than half of what I actually paid for this bike. Below I will list any modifications I can think of. Remember this bike already had the engine taken apart when I bought it to make sure no race fuel remained, which covers everything for the 20k valve shimming maintenance. It also just had it's oil, coolant, and brake fluid changed at 4k. So this bike has been very well maintained and is begging for another owner to take her out and give her a hard time. I also have some parts for the bike that I will list below. Any questions you can reach Jeff at 423-967-8970 anytime, if I do not answer just leave a message. I would prefer pickup of the bike, but I can crate it and ship it if you are willing to pay for that.. Please note the title is not in hand, it is about one hour away in Knoxville, TN, I intend to secure the clean title from the bank holding it, as soon as I receive cash, cashier's check, or equivalent. Good luck with this bike, I know it will make someone happy for years to come. Parts: Performance Listing: - Dynojet Performance Engine Management System mounted in the tail
section under the seat, dyno mapped and adjusted for optimal acceleration
and track performance.. It is a dream on the delivery of fuel to the bike,
the carb had to be removed from this bike due to the optimal handling of
the injectors by the management computer =) |
